Sync Generator Configuration

1. Pull SPG card on the right side of the device, by unlocking the metal lock on the bottom of the front side of the card and removing 

  1. 2. Set jumper on the alarm to disabled position, by removing the jumper on pins 1&2 ad replacing on the bottom 2&3 pin position 



     

  2. 3. Configuring IP Settings: 



 



 

  1. 4. Restore card to device and close front panel, power on device. 

  2. 5. Connect Ethernet to both devices 

  3. 6. Set Computer Network card to the following IP address to begin communication:  

    • 192.168.2.2 

    • 255.255.255.0 

    • 192.168.2.1 

  4. 7.  Open the Dashboard application and add a new connection using the "green plus sign" 

  5. 8. Select open Gear/Dashboard Connect folder and select TCP/IP Dashboard 

  6. 9. Type in sync generators IP:192.168.2.1 and detect frame  and finish 



 

  1. 10. Once the frame is detected, you can adjust the settings by double clicking the frame name in the basic tree view 

  2. 11. Double click on the MFC card to open settings 

  3. 12. Change the name on the network tab and right: (FRAME#_QUAD) example; 173893183_A4 

  4. 13. Select/Double click on the Slot SPG card and Set the reference to Internal  

  5. 14. Set the Reference rate to 30 Hz 

  6. 15. Set the 4 outputs to format of 1080p 30 

  7. 16. Double click on the UDA card to open settings and make sure that there is a check in the box to notify on loss of input 

  8. 17. Right click on the frame in the basic tree view and save configuration settings with both check boxes selected
