Custom Airline Timing Orchestration and Timing Rules

  1. Requests to change the airline timing for the Display ground and coming soon for airlines.
    • The global time is set for 4.5 hours prior to departure
    • This example will change Alaska to a 3.5 hour prior to departure setting
  1. Verified the timing rules for Airline: (Alaska)
  2. Make a backup of the current file: OrchestrationModuleConfiguration.jason
    1. Located at : C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SynectDataServer\App_Data\ConfigurationFiles\GOAA-COMMON
    2. Validated the current file in a .json viewer and removed all “Developers notes”
  3. In the OrchestrationModuleConfiguration.jason change the following information changes for Alaska’s request

"AirlineCode": "ASA",

               "StartSequenceRule": 210,

              "EndSequenceRule": 30

  1. Validated changes in .json viewer
  2. Review the files on the secondary device messenger
    • Files do not auto sync
    • Change and verified files on this device the same as in steps 3-6 above
  3. Restart iis on both messengers
  4. Verify functionality of timing rules, coming soon and video wall playback and orchestration for all airlines
