Media Player in a Domain Join Environment
A Domain joined environment might impose constrains on the Synect media player software. Domain join environments enable group policies that might restrict access or change settings. It is important to communicate the software pre-requisites with the relevant IT group in advance. When a device that has been already provisioned and is added to a domain join environment, it may loose certain settings or registry keys.
Example 1. An auto-log on signature registry entry may change when added to a domain, therefore the auto log on setting will not operate upon starting after a domain join.
Resolution: Please verify all settings after a domain join.
