Conifguring the Canvas Controler

Prepare the canvas controllers 
  1. Cnario: 

    • 1. Load Signed Cnario Certificate with proper Device/machine name 

    • 2. Check version 

    • 3. Change Name of Device 

      • a. Network Tab 

      • b. Machine Config 

      • c. Change name to GOAA Device name/ok 

    • 4. Delete Canvas Controller under the Display Device tab; 

      • a. Right click and Add new device 

      • b. Change enabled to False  

    • 5. Set broadcast address in Watchdog settings to match the VLAN 

      • a. Wolfpack Tab 

      • b. CC Core's on IP address broadcast 

      • c. SCI/WAY/CURB on 255.255.255 

      • d. Set Timers: 

        • UP's 

          • Primary/ 1:00 Restarts Sun-T-W-Th-F-Sat Reboots Mondays 

          • Secondary/1:07 Restarts Sun-T-W-Th-F-Sat Reboots Mondays 

        • CC Core's 

          • Restarts Sun-M-T-Th-F-Sat     11:30pm (23:30 military time) 

          • Reboots Wednesdays              11:30pm (23:30 military time) 

        • SCI/CUR/WF 

          • Restarts Sun-T-W-Th-F-Sat     1:00 AM 

          • Reboots Mondays                    1:00 AM 


    • 6. Close CNario application, the CC Core, Watchdog 

    • 7. Relaunch CNario 

      • a. Cancel playback 

      • b. Check CC and watchdog for correct broadcast address 



    • 8. Change Application Privileges to Admin 

      • a. Go to C/Program Files(x86)/C-nario/Cnario Universal Player/CCCore64 

      • Right Click on CCCore.exe  

        • Right click Properties 

        • Compatibility tab 

        • Check box to change privileges to Admin 

        • Apply/ok 

        • Launch CCCore64 to force it to change the CCCore application 

      • b. Go to C/Program Files(x86)/C-nario/Cnario Player 

        • Right click on Cnario application  

        • Right click Properties 

        • Compatibility tab 

        • Check box to change privileges to Admin 

        • Apply/ok 

      • c. Go to C/Program Files(x86)/C-nario/Cnario Universal Player 

        • Right click on Watchdog application  

        • Right click Properties 

        • Check box to change privileges to Admin 

        • Apply/ok 

      • d. Close applications: CCCore, Cnario and watchdog 

      • e. Delete all logs in program files (x86)/Cnario/watchdog/logs 

      9. Start Cnario and check logs to ensure CCCore x86 is playing and broadcast address is correct
