How to Update C-nario Versions:
1. Copy the C-nario updated version install files to the Install folder in the C: of the selected device.
2. Stop and end all C-nario, CCCore and Watchdog applications
3. If this is a current production UP, then make a backup of the configuration files to reuse after installation so you have the same settings and they will not be lost:
· In the registry under devices
Export a copy of the Registry item for back-up
· In the x86 program files, copy the Logical name files for back up
· In the x86 program files, copy the C-nario player.exe for back up if UP’s are set to redundancy
1. Uninstall C-nario Player Software
2. Delete C-nario folder from Program files (x86)
3. Delete C-nario folder from Program files
4. Check start-up to make sure the program is removed
· msconfig
· Go to start up tab
5. Install new version (if production, make sure that the check box for "Create a default display device" is NOT checked. Do not create a default display device or you will lose your settings)
6. Open C-nario/Cancel playback
7. Check version and leave open
8. Make sure CCCore64 is running (X86) This can be checked in the watchdog log files
9. If UP’s are redundant, copy and replace the C-narioplayer.exe file for garbage dump collection correction.
10. Restart Device and ensure the correct version plays upon restart
